Music Teachers Aid takes the hassle out of running your own personal music teaching studio.
Once you input your studio information, add business hours, and set your rates, Music Teachers Aid takes care of the rest.
As a teacher you can add your name, email, business address, hours of operation, billing rates, instruments taught, and any holidays / PTO needed to your profile. These holidays are set and respected during scheduling and rescheduling.
After adding your students into the system. They can be marked as an active, lead, waitlist or inactive student. From there add any related information pertaining to their instrument, skill level, address, parent / guardian, auto schedule monthly lessons, and mark if the lessons take place at your studio or the students home. Finally lessons can be scheduled for a single lesson or monthly lessons.
When scheduling lessons you have the choice to set the start date and time, how long the lesson will take place (15, 30, 45, 60) minutes, and what type of billing plan the student is on.
Choose from monthly (flat rate), hourly lessons, or per lesson options. If the student is set to Auto Schedule Lessons the system automatically schedules the student their lessons for the next month on the same date and time!
Easily view the calendar section of the app to view, edit, and summarize which students are being taught on what days.
Add lesson notes to help keep track of the student's progress, or help remember what was taught for that lesson.
When it comes to invoicing we got you covered. The application gives you insight by month how many students have been invoiced and which students still need to have an invoice created.
Once payment happens just select the invoice and choose what payment type and amount is needed to be recorded. From there the application will send a Paid invoice to the student, parent and or additional email if needed.
Our internal messaging system allows communication between students and parents.
